KidBibs Call For Manuscripts

KidBibs is intended to provide teachers and parents with practical ideas for helping children become good readers, writers, learners, and students. Articles may focus on any school subject or real world topic as long as reading, writing, or learning are tied in. Articles about parent involvement, the parent-teacher relationship, managing a child's behavior, learning styles, learning problems, standardized tests, etc. would also be appropriate.

Further, KidBibs articles should:

* be practical (but reflect research on teaching and learning);
* have clear application of ideas for parents and teachers;
* have clear application of ideas for young children and older children (up to age 12);
* tie-in children's literature, parenting books, or other appropriate books (with specific titles) whenever possible;
* have one/two clearly stated, well-focused idea(s);
* be well-written; and
* be two to four double-spaced typed pages in length (articles sent via e-mail do not need to be double-spaced).

If research or publications are cited, please adhere to the the style specifications in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Fourth Edition. Your published article will include your name, last degree earned, and your current position. Your article will be spotlighted for two weeks on the web site. It will then be placed in a file which will give web site visitors continued access to the article. They will be allowed to print articles out and/or to send articles to friends and colleagues via e-mail.

Articles should be submitted to:
